Project Narrative Reporting

General Description

Effective reporting system is an important component in project management system. It helps to identify the work conducted, to make use of the lessons learnt to plan the further activities in an appropriate manner, as well as contributes to the transparency and accountability of the organization. This training is addressed to organizations and individuals involved in project implementation, are responsible for project reporting and report presentation, and/or would like to improve their knowledge and skills in project activity reporting.

As a result of the training the participants will:

• get acquainted with types of reports presented in different stages of the project,

• learn general principles and approaches of reporting,

• find out structural elements of project activity reports,

• differentiate the main stages of project activity reporting,

• gain tools of gathering information for reports,

• be able to work with different formats of presenting and using project reports.

Training Topics and Methods

The following topics are included in the training:

1. The necessity of project activity report

2. Using project reporting in various stages of project management

3. Main structural elements of project report

• title page

• planned and implemented activities

• problems and solutions

• achievements

• activities planned for next period

• materials produced and other attachments

4. Main stages of report preparation

• data collection

• data processing

• presenting data in the report

5. Approaches for project report presentation and use

During the training, printed materials on the training topic and examples are given to the participants. The training is conducted in an interactive manner, using methods of presentation, group work, exercises and discussions.

Training Duration and Price

The duration of open (announced) training is 6 hours; the fee is 16800 AMD per person (without VAT). The duration of ordered training is defined on the basis of client needs and preferences. The cost for one hour of ordered training is 12000-14000 AMD (without VAT).
